Have your say! Society members get it off their chest
This space is a forum for your views about our borough. It can be anything that covers our remit:* Including our housing, our amenities (or lack of) low traffic neighbourhoods, the Local Plan, the increasing high-rise development, the poor architecture, the joys of the riverside…
What ever it is that is vexing or delighting you, this is where the soapbox is all yours.
The views expressed here are personal, and the publication on our website does not imply endorsement by The Kingston Society.
Please contact the Editor with your comments. Length is up to you but the normal rules of civilised discourse apply, in particular no ad hominem attacks. (a rhetorical strategy where the speaker attacks the character, motive, or some other attribute of the person making an argument rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself)
Be opinionated but be kind, lay some blame but lay it fairly. Vent your spleen by all means but be coherent, logical and clear.

'Better Places' is published by the influential right leaning Policy Exchange. The big idea is a matrix for measuring and delivering placemaking quality. But no amount of box ticking can ever act as a substitute for a creative publicly engaged design process.
