The Townscape Awards 2023 Presentation Ceremony

Wednesday 15th November 7.30pm at the Judge lecture Hall, Tiffins School

After months of activity, gathering nominations for the Townscape Awards, assessing the entries, a bespoke Ramblers townspace walk event, creating a short list, appointing a jury and polling for the ‘People’s Choice’ and community display at the Kingston Museum we are excited that the Awards presentation evening is next Wednesday 15th November 7.30pm at the Judge lecture Hall, Tiffin School, Kingston upon Thames KT2 6RL.( Click here to see a map of the area)

Sometimes we might all need a reminder that it’s not all doom and gloom, and that good things are happening within the borough. The Townscape Awards are exactly that reminder. Taking a look at the 32 nominations, all very different in type and scope it is clear there is much to celebrate. And the four winners, especially the People’s Choice, send a clear message that human scale developments that put community at the heart of their creation are what excites our interest.

So do please come along to help us celebrate the positive, raise a (literal) glass or two (with accompanying nibbles). Deputy Mayor Councillor Richard Thorpe will hand out the Certificates on behalf of our President, the Mayor.
